Quick answers
Share a web link from another app and choose DigginCrate in the Share Sheet. It lands in the Add inbox. Use Identify or Search, then confirm the catalogue match; nothing is added to your crate until you confirm it.
DigginCrate’s Share Extension accepts web links. Plain text or a bare image is not added. Open the Add tab to see the shared links waiting in the inbox.
The first 15 saved recommendations are included. When you try to save number 16, the app offers DigginCrate Unlimited. Deleting a saved recommendation does not restore a free slot.
A non-consumable, one-time purchase that removes the recommendation limit. It is not a subscription and has no renewals. The App Store shows the price in your local currency.
From Crate, tap the profile/settings button. In Settings, go to Purchases and tap Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account you used to buy Unlimited; restoring is free.
No. Catalogue search works without an Apple Music account or subscription through Apple’s public catalogue. Connecting Apple Music in Settings, in the Apple Music section, is optional; it adds richer metadata and lets you export favorites to an Apple Music playlist.
DigginCrate does not play audio. “Play it” opens Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, Tidal or Bandcamp. Choose one or more destinations in Settings, under Streaming Platform.
Artwork comes from the music catalogue. If a find was saved before its cover was available, DigginCrate tries to fill it in again when the app opens.
Your finds, notes, ratings, tags, lists and preferences stay on your device. DigginCrate has no account or its own backend.
